about

Arianna Rosario Valentín (b. Mayagüez, 2002) is a transdisciplinary artist and designer based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Their work, often surreal in nature, explores physical manifestations of emotional turmoil on the body, coloniality, and gender identity through expressionist paintings and prints. Additionally, they strongly believe in the power of design as a creative catalyst for social change, due to the roles it plays in communication, education, and improving accessibility for all.

Rosario is a senior student at the Río Piedras campus of the University of Puerto Rico, majoring in Fine Arts and Latin American Art History. Their work has been exhibited in La Casa del Libro Museum (Old San Juan, 2023), La Liga de Arte (Old San Juan, 2024), Casa de Cultura Ruth Hernández (Río Piedras, 2024), and the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus (2025). Rosario’s work resides in private collections across Puerto Rico and the United States, as well as the Fundación Museo de Artes do Gravado á Estampa Dixital in A Coruña, Spain.
